Advance the PEMB Design Before Building Procurement
Northern State Steel can work directly with the project's Engineer of Record to develop the PEMB design, reactions, calculations and permit drawings during the design phase, before the building package is purchased.
This paid standalone preconstruction service can allow the PEMB information to be coordinated with the foundation and overall construction documents for the initial permit submittal. When accepted by the Engineer of Record and authority having jurisdiction, this approach may reduce deferred-submittal delays, minimize redesign and help the project move toward permit approval sooner.
The service does not require the customer to purchase the building from Northern State Steel. Building supply, delivery and erection may be priced separately when the project is ready.
Who This Service Is For
This early PEMB design and permit-integration service is intended for commercial and industrial projects being developed with a general contractor, architect, or project Engineer of Record. An established project design team and defined commercial building scope are required before this service can begin.
Owners purchasing a PEMB package directly from Northern State Steel will typically receive PEMB engineering and permit documentation through the standard building-order process. An owner may also use the standalone service when an architect or Engineer of Record has already been retained and will coordinate the overall project design.
